Slice of Lily is just a place where I share the things I enjoy at the moment whether it's baking, gardening, photography, homemaking, creative projects, and whatever else I happen to be working on at the time. These things tend to go on a rotation as I gain/lose interest lol. But I always find my way back to them!
I’ve always liked making things from scratch, being outside, learning random new skills, and finding ways to make everyday life feel a little nicer and more intentional without taking it all too seriously.
Some days I’m baking bread or working in the garden, other days I’m designing worksheets, taking photos, reorganizing something in the house, or starting a project I probably didn’t need to start. Some days, I can't be bothered with anything but hanging out with the kids. And that's okay.
This site became a mix of all of that.
You’ll find recipes, gardening stuff, printables, photography, homestead-inspired projects, and little bits of everyday life mixed in along the way.
Nothing here is meant to be perfect. I just like creating things, sharing ideas, and documenting what I’m learning as I go. And hopefully, inspire you to create as well.
Glad you’re here. 🤍

Frequent Asked Questions
What do you do for work?
I am a stay at home mom. I have a degree in Marketing that I still use for my own projects. I take on additional design, photography, and marketing jobs as well, when time allows it. I used to help my partner with his YouTube (1.5m subs) but mostly I homeschool and care for the kids now. Oh also, I have 8 chickens, 2 guineas, and 2 ducks now so there's that!
Can you make me a website like yours?
Yes! Making blogs and creator websites is actually one of my favorite things to do. I do it for fun constantly when I get a new 'business idea'. I create the entire brand, website and everything. Of course I also do it for work. Visit my studio site Four Thirty Studio.
Want your own blog like this?
I know a lot of moms just want a space to create something that feels like theirs again. A little creative outlet to share ideas, feel inspired, and make things without worrying about perfection. That’s a big reason I started this blog. To create in a messy, real way and hopefully inspire other moms to do the same. Think of it like a little online diary filled with things I love, create, and want to share.
